About Piquadro

Who founded Piquadro?
Piquadro was founded by Marco Palmieri, who is still its Chairman and CEO. In 1987 he started making leather goods in his parents' garage in Porretta Terme, in the Bologna Apennines; in 1998 he launched the Piquadro brand, with bags designed for the first laptops and mobile phones. Where is Piquadro based?
Piquadro's headquarters is in Silla di Gaggio Montano, in the province of Bologna, where the company opened its production site in 2006. The first Piquadro boutique opened in 2000 in Via della Spiga, Milan, and the company has been listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since 2007.
Which brands are part of the Piquadro Group?
The Piquadro Group includes three brands: Piquadro, The Bridge, a Florentine leather goods brand that joined the group in 2016, and Lancel, the Parisian maison founded in 1876, which joined in 2018.
