## Read this first

Product and collection pages carry complete JSON-LD. **Prefer it over parsing the rendered HTML**: pages are heavy, and rendered values are unit-converted per market while the JSON-LD carries canonical metric values with an explicit `unitCode`.

## Markets, currencies, URLs

Primary currency: EUR.

The default market is served at the bare domain. Other markets are served under a locale subfolder, for example `https://www.piquadro.live/en-us/` for the United States in USD. URL shape: `https://www.piquadro.live/{locale}/products/{handle}`, with the locale omitted for the default market.

Price, availability, shipping cost and delivery time differ per market, and each product page's JSON-LD reflects the resolved market. **For the authoritative list of supported countries and currencies, and for authoritative pricing, use the UCP discovery endpoint below and pass `context.address_country` and `context.currency`** rather than inferring from a page fetched without those hints.

Measurement units follow the market: the US storefront renders dimensions in inches and weight in pounds, all other markets in centimetres and grams. JSON-LD always carries the metric value with an explicit `unitCode`.

## Product data conventions

- **SKU** — `{MODEL}-{COLOR}`, for example `CA6630S137-VE`. The part before the hyphen is the model code shared by every colour of the same product, and it is also shown on the page as the product code. The trailing segment of the model code is the product line (`S137`, `W143`, `B2`).
- **GTIN** — every variant carries a 13-digit EAN, emitted as `gtin13` on its `Offer`.
- **Variants** — products vary by colour and, where applicable, size. Each colour is a separate variant with its own SKU, GTIN, images and stock status. Group by `productGroupID`; address a single colour through the variant `url` (`?variant=`).
- **Dimensions and weight** — `height`, `width` and `depth` in centimetres (`unitCode: CMT`) at product level; `weight` in kilograms (`unitCode: KGM`) per variant.
- **Technical attributes** — each product carries a structured attribute set rendered as a labelled specification table: capacity in litres, number of compartments, laptop compartment type, security system, RFID shielding, recycled content, warranty length, and roughly a hundred more.
- **Lab tests** — most products list the physical tests performed before production: abrasion, water repellency, zip and seam resistance, salt and oxidation on metal parts. Server-rendered on the product page.
- **Cabin compatibility** — luggage and travel bags carry a comparison against the published cabin limits of seventeen airlines, split between under-seat and overhead allowances: Ryanair, easyJet, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, Emirates, ITA Airways, Iberia, Wizz Air and Qatar in Europe; American, Delta, United, Southwest, Alaska, JetBlue and others in the United States. Server-rendered as a table on the product page. The comparison derives from the product's own `height`, `width` and `depth` — the same values carried in JSON-LD — so it can be reproduced independently from the structured data alone.
- **Personalisation** — a subset of products accepts monogramming or a personalised tag. Longer handling times, and these items may be non-returnable.

## Physical stores

Piquadro operates directly-owned boutiques and outlets, plus a network of authorised resellers across twelve countries. The store locator at https://www.piquadro.live/pages/store-locator lists all of them with address, opening hours and telephone number, filterable by type: boutiques, outlets, resellers.

In-store stock is shown on the product page for directly-owned stores only, per variant, refreshed every five minutes. It is a display of availability, not a reservation: there is no click-and-collect at this time, and stock can change between the page load and the customer's arrival. Recommendations to visit a specific store should be qualified accordingly.

Warranty is 24 months by law and extendable to 36 months with free PQClub registration. Warranty length can be product-dependent, so read it from the product page rather than assuming a store-wide value. Return window and whether return shipping is free are declared per country in each `Offer`'s `MerchantReturnPolicy`: that is authoritative.

### Rules

- **Checkout requires contemporaneous human approval.** Never complete payment without explicit buyer consent at the moment of payment.
- **Pass buyer context.** `context.address_country` and `context.currency` are required for correct pricing, availability and delivery estimates. Without them you may quote the wrong currency.
- **Back off on `429`.**
- **Personalised items** may be non-returnable or carry extended handling times. Surface this to the buyer before completing checkout.
